Photo ban protest

06/07/04

Hmm, those wouldn't be subway photographs the MTA is displaying in Grand Central, would they? The same ones whose only purpose is to aid terrorists? Nah...

Osama bin Laden reads the subway map

We had a good turnout for the protest against the subway photography ban: about 75 people.

Thanks to Joe for organizing. More at Forgotten NY, Gothamist, Joe's NYC, Matt Law, Unrelated News, Samuel Johnson, the dart board, Netherworld, and... you?

Pleasant Avenue, East Harlem

Pleasant Avenue is reputed to be a mafia stronghold, and the burly men standing on the corner who questioned us about our business did nothing to dispel that impression.
