I'm europian, from Finland, next to russia, your pictures gives me good memories, about missilises of peace, when they where transported in Moskow in fist of may.

Macy's parade? Please let me be saved from that kind of consumer capitalism, as well as from love missiles.

Missles of peace? What kind of crap is that?

Oh and I always wondered where Finland was located. Thanks for clearing that one up. Just like someone to assume an American would otherwise not know anything about geography. Ph wait, that is usually the case isn't it?

It looks like Ronald McDonald is running away from the recruiting station. How unpatriotic.

What a fantastic job u did on the pictures of the parade! They look great!
Happy Thanksgiving!

Hi.

Did you by any chance get a shot of the NORA balloon? I have a little girl in Pulaski Va. (the daughter of a friend) who miss the parade on TV. Nora is her favorite. Would appreciate it if you have a shot and showed it on the site. Your photos are great! Many Thanks for your time.

Posted by: Santi at November 29, 2005 11:06 AM

I think you mean Dora, as in Dora the Explorer.

Unless there was a Nora Ephron balloon I didn't know about.

Posted by: Mitch45 at November 29, 2005 11:58 AM

I stand corrected on that, its DORA. Shows how much I know about kids TV shows. Thanks.

That sure beat the Boscov's parade in Philly...Curious George's head wasn't blown up! What a drag. Love the photos, Mike as usual you cheer me up. Now who wants turkey?

i was there in the crowd it was amazing sponge bob was huge the disney float was the best

Posted by: sam at November 29, 2005 03:24 PM

Wow, you had a great view! Sponge Bob looks like he is maybe sticking out his tongue and saying neener-neener to the crowd below. Loved the shot of the comb from Chicken Little, and also wonder how Charlie Brown got such a big schnoz. Thanks for the great shots!

Love those parade pictures, especially the first one.

Posted by: Gary at November 30, 2005 09:31 PM

Does someone want to tell me what those blocks are REALLY supposed to say? I'm so confused.

Fantastic shots, love the humor!

Awsome photos, I love the Ronald McDonald floating by the U.S Armed Forces recruiting ststion!

Posted by: Sprite at December 8, 2005 01:42 AM

The great thing about "Amruy Aedekyrapstc" is that if it was straight on, it would be an also-ridiculous "Christmas Merry."

Great shots.

Ronald McDonald is kinda spooky looking.

Posted by: sayvanderlay at December 10, 2005 01:16 PM
