Is Straight Hardware still up and running in Hell's Kitchen? I have a sweatshirt from Straight when I lived in Chelsea in the late '80s.

The very last image is my favorite, the way it 9/11 flag is superimposed over the imgage of the building. The past still overshadowing the present.

Among other duties, that guard is supposed to prevent you from taking pictures of the guardhouse.
I first saw that WTC hanging, in the window of a school or day care center, very soon after 9/11. Very soon, like a week after. I suspect it was there before, or elsewhere in the building if not in the window.

Since it's legal to take pictures of the guardhouse, perhaps he should be redeployed to other tasks.
