Wow. Did you take these from an airplane or a helicopter?
Airplane.
amazing! the clarity and composition from a moving plane is impressive.
Great photos! I especially enjoyed the Queens photo, which I recognize as Forest Hills, right off Queens Blvd. around 99th Street. I lived in FH as a little kid in the 1960s and have fond memories. Those buildings pretty much look the same as they did 40 years ago. Thanks again!
These are incredible. Words fail me. Thank you for posting them!
Wow, I can't believe that you took those from an airplane. The quality is amazing.
Absolutely stunning. The white building to the left of the Prospect Park photos...could that be the Brooklyn Museum?
Actually, it's the Brooklyn Public Library. The Museum would be a quarter-mile or so past it.
Terrific! flight 20 -- sounds like Jet Blue...
wow...fantastic photos, ever thought of having a select few at desktop resolution?
I don't know the area...but that one of prospect park looks like a battleground. At least from the air.
Fascinating. Maybe you'll start a new trend.
That's the Long Meadow, but I think it was involved in the Battle of Long Island, a.k.a. Battle of Brooklyn, August 1776.
In brief, Washington and his army retreated through Brooklyn for a week then escaped across the river to Manhattan.
well..i moved from oak to bx..and from the air looks te same..trust me-none of these pics are rl pics of the areas!
