Two Years

03/11/05

Above, my favorite photos from the second year of Satan's Laundromat. (Manhattan 12, Brooklyn 5, London 5, San Francisco 2, Oakland 1, Boston 1, New Jersey 1.) My favorites from the first year are here. Thanks for visiting.

To celebrate the second anniversary, I'll do about 7 miles of my 500-mile every-block-of-Manhattan walk with anyone who'd like to join me. Meet at Chambers, West Broadway and Hudson Street on Saturday, March 26 at 1 p.m. (raindate Sunday, March 27).

Photobloggies nominations are open through the 16th.

Congratulations!
There is sooo much garbage on the W3, and Then there is all that stuff I wouldn't have time to search out and find within my lifetime, so thanks to SL, there's a place to find some of the rare, some of the snipets, some of the lifetimes you share with us, whether it is boston, NYC, where-ever... Of your favs, my fav is the brick building with the watertowers at sunset. And anything you do with bricks! Stay alive for at least two more years!

Congratulations! It's always a pleasure to see what you've posted. One of my favorite series you put up is the "Modern subway tunnel 1", so sublime!

Posted by: randombanner at March 11, 2005 09:48 AM

Congrats Mike - I'd never considered reading (viewing) a photoblog, and saw a reference to yours, was attracted by the great title, and subscribed the first time I visited your site. I now have 21 photoblogs on my list of daily subscriptions.

So first, thanks for doing what you do, and for sharing your creations on the web. Second, thanks for the reminder of the photobloggies, because I intended to nominate you, but kept forgetting. I am still constanly amazed by your work -- at least once a week I gasp at something you've posted, and believe that you deserve much more recognition.

wow awesome. maybe i'll try to make it on the 26th. By the way the Aa (A) photo is probably related to an anarcho punk band that i actually saw play yesterday called Big A little a. where is that photo from? I vaguely remember seeing it somewhere.
