All very cool, but I really love the one with the colored bricks and the one with the ivy.

This one is shot on Division near Leo's, no??

Leo's Lunch Room was around the corner of the one with the Miller's Lumber sign reflected. And the "Pollos/bunny/flying fish and Coca-Cola" is on Chicago Avenue near Paulina. The "Holy-Way" is on the west side of Ashland, south of Division. And the MC water tower with "No Parking" and "Street Cleaning" is along Milwaukee Ave, along with some of the other sticker/poster/flyer shots.

What a great bunch of pics! I see your site daily using bloglines, and there's always at least one that I love, but today you have several that are just terrific: Holy Way, Pollos, the colored bricks, duverneyphoto.com. Not just the subject matter, but the composition and color are wonderful!

I also wish I lived in a city where someone put paper drawings of video cameras on buildings.

Thanks for sharing!

Yes, that camera is great. Wonder if a real one will show up.

Now I know where to get my Bibles. Love the pics!

When I squint my eyes on the bricks, it's a gaugan painting, the one with the two tahitian girls with a basket of fruit. Try it for yourself, its very much reflective of that painting.
And I just know that some cracker will notice that camera out of the corner of his eye, and put down that I-pod he just stole from the marketplace!
Very nice set here... BTW, has gates been taken down yet? I am still wondering what the H will be done with those bases? (600 lbs ea)

Sorry, I'm an artist not a national spelling champion, in regards to Gaugan.

Have I told you how much I love your photoblog? I went to NYC last summer for the first time and fell in love with the city and the people. While I found NY to be absolutely frenetic and overwhelming (Everything is so much bigger, faster and louder than Vancouver) there is just something about it that gets under your skin and stays with you. I miss it now so when I need a fix I visit your blog. Your photos are amazingly observant. You somehow capture life on a microcosmic level. You see things most people just completely miss. I added you to my links page on my website so others could appreciate your gift.
