I'm appalled and dissapointed. Love the rest of the site, hate medieval times.

Helena: I'm fascinated by your assumption that I only photograph things I approve of. It seems wholly unsupported by reality.

Crappy Knight!!!

Wow, I didn't think it really existed. Hope all is well with you.

Looks like a fun time! I've always wanted to go to one just to see what it was like.

Great shot of the place! I believe this was where Cable Guy did their shot of Jim Carrey and the Godzilla star battling in the ring of death.
Anyway, nice photos!

What, no giant turkey leg?

You're right. Ofcourse you don't just photograph things you approve of. Excuse my appelled-ness. Then one question remains. Did you go to medieval times JUST to take the photo's?

Posted by: Helena at February 17, 2005 08:22 AM

Helena- Is everything you do perfect, and to everyone else's liking?? I am sure Mike is not here for the sole purpose of pleasing you! If you happen to not like the pics, check back tomorrow, and see if there is something new!

Mike- Keep up the good work! You photos have inspired me to try the same type of project here in Dallas.

I never knew a place like this existed. Is it anything like the Renaissance Faire or do you go there just to eat and watch a show? Tell me more about this place. I would love to go there.

Posted by: Robin at February 17, 2005 04:46 PM

It's a franchised "themed dining attraction" with locations all over the country. I've never been to a real olde renaissance faire, but I would imagine that MT is way cheesier (and more full of children.)

Seems to exist mostly as a place to drag people for birthdays.

Never meant to offend Mike, or you dallas girl. I guess my language was a bit too strong (maybe it's a english-is-my-second-language thing)

I love the site so much too. I check back here every day to see what Mike has found interesting and beautiful now, and mostly find those things interesting and beautiful because he did too. I hoped that my second comment had corrected the first one and made clear that I had not meant it all that way. Dutch sarcasm doesn't work in english I guess. Sorry..

Well, keep up the good work Mike and ignore ridiculous posts..
