I really like the one from Hoboken, and the Boston Post Road. Those are awesome!
That's cuz Hoboken is awesome!
What's up with the Mad truck? Is it related to the magazine? If not, they're gonna get sued.
Nice. I have been away from New York after living there for 2 years and I am getting withdrawal symptoms.
It will be awesome if you decide to take the 4 updown and take pictures of the 86th Street subway. Please.
Bway/hi 20s: The Wholesale District.
Since it seems to be en vogue to create silly acronyms for neighborhoods now, I'd call it SOGGY (South Of the Garden and GreeleY square). Especially if it keeps raining.
Great miscellany!
The proprietor of the Mad truck tried to beat me up with his/her [it was hard to tell] cane for taking a picture of the truck.
Are you surprised? Most "people" with "cameras" are really terrorists.
sarcasm is dead.
He probably went after you cause he knows he broke some copyright law for using MAD and the caricature of Alfred Newman. He knows hes gonna get sued. Love QUARTS WATCHES. Your photos continue to delight me. With the influx on immigrants it is really amusing to see their take on American words. I read the NYTimes piece last week.
That hoboken picture is SO SO NICE!! It is now my desktop background...beautiful pic.And the "registirs" is amusing as well haha..
Broadway/high 20s Euphemism: "A good buy. It could be the next Williamsburg. You can tell some of your non New Yorker friends you live on Broadway"
The shot of Hoboken is cool. The way the fog sets is kinda like looking onto San Fransisco or Oakland. The lights glare off of the fog. The contrast of the earth pile in front adds a nice touch to the photo.
I love the AMI BIOS screen on the subway sign! I just wonder what booted after that screen passed.
Umm. robin! just for the record... Americans never invented english! well except for maybe yo....( and 'talk to the hand' but thats a phrase ) I think you meant to say "With the influx on immigrants it is really amusing to see their take on ENGLISH words" gee!
