I'm not usually a big fan of graffiti pictures, but you've done it again... I really like the one under the bridge with "CEPT" reflecting back in the water. Excellent!

Woo! Protest!

How does this canal compare to our own glorious Gowanus? Looks larger and actually has banks that aren't tumbling in. How are the fumes?

No fumes, and you can walk along it the whole way (except in the tunnels); it actually goes useful places, unlike the Gowanus.

Anyone have an idea of how long this protest is going to be? I'm looking forward to it, but I have to go to work later on.

It'll take at most 2 and a half to 3 hours. So expect to be on your way home/work/wherever before 4 PM. It's not that long.

For those of you that went last time, we'll be making a loop again, with slight modifications and additional stops.

Sounds good. Thanks.

It's interesting to see my home patch through someone else's eyes. I walk part of this route a couple of time each week. Now I can look with fresh eyes.
