I lived in Boerum Hill/Cobble Hill for three years, and these pictures make DT Brooklyn look SO decrepit. (That's neither a good thing nor a bad thing.) Photos don't lie.

That's chutzpah, to deface a police van.

I've been a Brooklynite for 42 years, and believe me, these pictures are an impovement over what downtown used to look like. Excellent work!

That sure is brazen, since that police van is parked outside central booking!!!

Hey, thanks a lot for the pictures. Ive been reading a lot about New York and these pictures are exactly what I was looking for for downtown Brooklyn. I love how youre able to take what most people would think of as boring and rundown parts of the city and make them look interesting (which, in reality, they are)

I live in a small city in Canada, these pictures are really showing me what New York is really like. Thanks again!

Since I'm in the military I really don't get to come home to visit as often as I like, even though I'm only stationed in Virginia. However. seeing pictures of BK aka Crooklyn keeps me close to home and never forgetting where I'm from. Even thogh I'm in VA, my mentality will always be BK. From the way I talk, dress, and walk. I breathe Brooklyn air. I am BK. thanx for the pictures

Wow.I just stumbled upon this site and I have to say your pics ae great...I am a Brooklynite displaced in England, and I have to say the place, no matter what never changes..You can paint, rebuild, whatever, but Fulton will always be Fulton, Flatbush ext, Albee Sq, etc...Storefront with knockoff replica goods, to high end fashions, to cellphones, and ethnic cuisine, all in the same store! LOL...
