That's a nice collection of skies you've got there. :)

nice series. i really like the blue in the first shot.. and then I see it's reappearance in the final shot. ;)

Dude! This is an awesome set! I especially love shot 7, 3, 1, 8 (in that order). What will we ever do without fluffy clouds.

really liked the first and last, especially the last.

Love the 2nd picture but the 9th picture seems like you're in some kind of vehicle... a bus or train perhaps?

that second one is the _best_

if i were a rockstar who needed an album cover, that would totaly be it.

Hey Mike, is that the Renwick Smallpox Hospital in the 3rd photograph?

Seems like it... the 4th photo is of the Pepsi Cola sign, from across the river, making me think you were on Roosevelt Island, making me think that's Renwick in the 3rd photo.

mmm....powerbook...

excellent series. my camera has issues with sunsets, so i'm not sure how you do it.

Posted by: tien at June 17, 2004 01:54 PM

yeah the last shot rules. powerbook rules too but i only have the little 12"

Am I wrong, or is #1 being overlooked? It's a great study of color, with geometric and organic composition.

Never let thy camera cool.

Renwick it is. My interior shots didn't really come out, which is why I never posted them. (That's snow on the ground in #6.)

mike -- another great series! I agree with all the above - so many terrific compositions. But the final, with the powerbook echoing the earlier pic -- that's bloody brilliant. I wish I'd thought of it. -=-joe
