Clearly the ideal building. Santa's world is shipping and receiving there, among others after all... I think you've discovered a secret place... make sure not to get hit by a suspicious sled, pulled by red nosed reindeer this winter... ; )

I generally visit photoblogs with my images off, loading new pictures one at a time just to save the blogger's bandwidth. It was especially pleasant on this thread, because each successive picture was like peeling a layer of the onion, getting closer each step.

Another tenant in the Ideal Building is clearly a sweatshop! Yay!

Oooooo i love old loft buildings (i live in one). and this one is a great one. If you squint your eyes you can almost see artists moving in and illegal parties.

The Ideal Building is way past its ideals.

Generally most people would live in the old buildings. They satisfy one's sense of nostalgia and exude an aura of romanticism. But all these are effects of what we see in the facade. When the water pipes get clogged, the sewers overflow, the roof leaks, and the list goes on endlessly, we think to ourselves, "What the hell am I doing here?" Well maintained old buildings are a rarity.

Your photos are still tops. Thanks.

What properties do you suppose that an ideal buidling ought to have?
