Just street art, I think, along with the "Free Speech" thing. Actually, the near-absence of street art in Philly threw me for a loop. Maybe I just wasn't looking in the right places.

Those are great pictures! I live in Philadelphia now and I think money orders are much more popular than cash in my neighborhood. It definitely captures the uniqueness of the city.

Great pictures--I love your site and was happy to see some Philly shots. However, if you think there's an absence of street art here, you should come back and visit again (though we may have different definitions of street art?).

Hi -- I'm looking for a photo of a sign in a restaurant, that I'm pretty sure I saw here. Unfortunately, I'm on a dialup right now, and looking through everything (as fun as it normally would be) is taking forever. The sign (in the photo) was handwritten, and said something about the "patty pan" being "very hot." I need to see that photo again. Can someone tell me where in the archives it is?

Thanks!!!
