I believe it is a Sri Lankan grocery. In any event it's attached to an extraordinarily good Sri Lankan restaurant (on Staten Island).

A long, long time ago on a subway platform in queens, we were waiting for the F train. there was a train in the station, but no lights on; then, a voice from the station master: "F Train! Announce yourself!". THEN - a voice from within the train: "Hi, I'M an F train!! Anybody wanna go to Brooklyn?" Now, how could anyone resist that?
