My assumption that there's nothing worth photographing in Los Angeles has been shattered by pixpopuli.

Any ideas about the story with "Note First Name" and "Frank" being underlined?

I was in LA last week, and I have to say you came to mind about a dozen times. That town has thousands and thousands of wacky signs - just stay off the freeways, they're death.

Here's one for you. A crappy photo from the car - but "Mo Better Meaty Meat Burgers"!? You can't beat that with a stick.

It took me a while to get the "Note first name" sign. I think what you're supposed to take away from it is that Frank H. Taylor, and his son, are frank, which I suppose is a desirable quality in a realtor. Just a hunch.

I actually didn't notice the underlining in person -- just the "note first name," which was remarkable in itself.

My guess would be that there was a competing realtor named Something Else Taylor...and Frank got tired of customers looking up just Taylor and getting the wrong person?
