I had one of these same guys do a portrait of my wife when we visited in 2001.

Love the site! Keep it up. I live up in Canada near Toronto. I miss New York.

What does the Liberty sign say? "Please ______, it's the law!" = can't read the ______.

"Please recycle, it's the law."

Darnit, I've been looking for a vampire to room with, too. I can't quite make out the phone number on the ad tho... :-)

Love the APARTMENT ad. Is this real or someone playing a joke?

Posted by: Pauly D at March 14, 2004 07:35 PM

I'm guessing it's real; the number corresponds to a residence listing a few blocks from where I saw the ad.

I think the apartment ad is for a new reality show. Google "reality show vampire roommate".

I loved the statue of libery mural.

The apartment ad for a vampire, witch, voodoo priestess and naturist is a guerilla marketing campaign for "Mad Mad House" on SciFi. Note how on all of the flyers that are around town, the phone numbers are not cut to make it easier to tear off.
