I really like the alley of closed amusement stalls. Very nice pic.

really, truly fantastic lighting. i love that these are night pictures. everything is sleeping.

ha - "tears of excitement at the cyclone"! "tears of pain" is more accurate. i rode that thing once and thought my neck was going to snap.

It's actually "76 years of excitement," not "tears of excitement," but I think I like Armeen's reading better!

Nice set.

wow, that green in the final picture is crazy...or maybe it's just my monitor.

I love the lighting of the night shots, really cool. Also, I love that real neon green on the last shot. Very cool shots, as always.

I love night photography!

Whoa...these are cracking snaps. I love the 4th shot of the open warehouse. Was that the available lighting or did you 'paint with some flash' on this one. I'm looking at the crane...can't see a light source. Anyhow..wicked pics.

Everything you see here is available lighting. There's a very bright light behind the lightning bolt leg things in the fourth picture, which is reflected by the black surface in the foreground.

funny!! with all the interesting/unusual signs you capture, guess i just assumed (and hoped) that some copywriter pitched "tears of excitement at the cyclone" for this sign and was slapped on the back by a bunch of advertising execs. :-) ok, so it's 76 "years" of pain.

Nice.

Well, I have a feeling 2nd and 3rd shots are underexposed shots from sunset. Theres no streetlamps on, or even the Wonderwheel is lit. And you can see the sky with clouds. I've been doing that a lot myself. anyways, cool shots man.

These are actually from long after sunset -- around midnight.

I know it's been a while since this was posted, but you missed the original entrance to the old Steeplchase park. It's around W 22nd or so on the boardwalk. It's really interesting. in fact, the whole boardwalk is very interesting.
