The High Line, an abandoned elevated rail line on the West Side of Manhattan.
Lots of other people have High Line pictures online, but I couldn't find many winter ones.

I like the "blue sky plus" shot. It's really hard to tell where the building ends and the sky begins!

Hi, The shot taken between the yellow framework is great. specially when the yellow framework is selected realistic. thanks
Like your pictures mate. Here in London we have a fair few disused viaducts, underground lines and 'hidden stations' - trying to see them as the tube whisks past is a fun game.
I like the colonization of the viaduct by those living around it and by nature. Reclaiming city spaces is important, and gives your district a new meadow.
Keep snapping geezer!

hi, my first time here... and i'm DELIGHTED! irt seems to me that in a way we share the same sensibility - attention to obscure but poetic details, curiosity of forgotten NY treasures... i have a blog too, unfortunately it's in Polish (which happens to be my native language), so i'm afraid there is no use in sharing it with you. anyway, thanks for beautiful and inspiring photos - and keep up the good work!
i'll be back! :)
wat the flying fuck?
I have some winter pictures from last year mixed in with other visit pictures in my Flickr set:
