We Sell Thomas

Meta trucker hat
Park Slope, Brooklyn. Who or what is Thomas?

I'm fascinated by Not Fooling Anybody, a collection of poorly executed conversions from failed archetypically-architected businesses to (usually) low-rent restaurants. I especially like this Planet Hollywood-turned-pizzeria. (This used to say "-turned-no-name-pizzeria," but I was corrected.)

Different Thomas, unless you can explain why they'd sell California maps in Brooklyn.

Maybe Thomas the Tank Engine?

Hey, that's Mr. Martinez at the liquor store on my block! I think Thomas is a brand of ice they sell, but I could be wrong about that.

I'm kind of surprised you didn't take one of the graffiti outside.

I was impressed by Not Fooling Anybody - who knew there were still so many mom-and-pop businesses out there, some actually replacing big chains? Some of them are probably regional chains - They are all funny.
