Approach

Have you ever had the "Oh my God we're about to hit the Williamsburgh Savings Bank Building and...whoa, there's my house!" approach to LaGuardia?

I just did.

I hope my pictures turned out.

Sadly, I've not had that feeling ever. Or should I be grateful about that instead?

You were linked from TUS, and I adore that photo.

The photograph is awesome.

When I lived in Park Slope and would fly back into LGA during the day, I would excitedly note the Third Street entrance to the park, then count the streets to 6th Street, then figure which house was mine. Now it's a little less fun, since I can single out my high rise fairly easily in Manhattan's grid.
