Reflection of tufa

Tufa and Mono Lake
Tufa at Mono Lake, Mono County, CA. They're visible only because Los Angeles' thirst has lowered the level of the lake by fifty feet. (better tufa shots)

Monument in cemetery, with Japanese lettering

Sake bottle and Batman doll left at monument

Brick pipe section

Wooden posts sticking out of the ground

Concrete blocks in the ground
Manzanar War Relocation Center, CA. Tens of thousands of Americans of Japanese ancestry, most of them citizens, were imprisoned in these camps during World War II.
