Hi! I LOVE your website! I just discovered it on nycblogs.com. Anyhoo...you have the most interesting blog near my neighborhood. FYI I just saw the octopuss/alien ? graffiti at lunch today on the scaffolding ( I think) on Lexington near Bloomingdales...not that you care! ahahah just thought I'd tell you because I thought to myself..."hey, I recognize that!" Then I saw the photos now on your blog.
I'll try to remember the actual location of one of my favorite signs in Bed-Sty I think you would appreciate. I'm pretty sure it was on Bedford and ? (I'll figure it out) A bar named " Larry's Liquid Love - A Sophisticated Meeting Place" Everytime I used to go by that I'd just have to crack a smile.

Its been a few months since I last visited. Again, I found myself grinning, my heart and eyes welling and caught between rock and a hard place. How much I miss NYC and want to be there and how much I love my home here in Philadelphia. There is always something missing in my life I think, and its the spirit and creativity and the insanity of NYC which you expertly capture in your photos. I enjoy coming to your site. It brings back memories and allows me to come home.

Bedford and Putnam. Larry sold it last year. It is now Liquid Love, but people still call it Larry's
