Tribute in Light

From the 39th floor in Midtown, I thought, "Is that it?"

By Houston Street, it blew me away.

Honestly, I can't help but be mesmerized looking at the pictures. It still does invoke some inner sad emotions that I thought I no longer have concerning the incident. I just hope we'll learn to remember the lessons we gained from the tragedy.

My sister went to NYC last year. She went to ground zero. When she came home she was telling me about it and when she got to the part about ground zero she said the only thing that went through her mind was "That's it? Huh. Thought it'd be bigger."
