Great takes!! Your Sunset is beautiful and creative Authority!
What great interpretations! After viewing 125 26-items sites, your "empty" really is a unique take on the subject. Many thanks to you for enlightening and entertaining.
I really like 'numbers' and 'sunset' is extremely tasty.
well done!
Do you mind if i ask what you used to make those thumbnails and no put them in a table like that? Did you code it pure html yourself?
Photoshop Elements auto-generated the thumbnails into a directory (it took all the images from one directory and generated thumbnails in another directory and half-size images in a third). I stole the HTML from the 26 things site and inserted the URLs of the thumbnails into the HTML, then pasted that HTML into Moveable Type.
great photos :) sunset is really cool - thanks for participating in the project!
Wow, is all I can say! Beautiful pics and perfect interpretation of the themes. One of the best sites. Mimi.. at 26 things site #14

Mike, the way you title your pictures is startling. You find creative themes within the jaded cynicism of The City (there's only one ;) ) the way a child finds wonder in his everyday life. Home and empty are so arch and the truth of color, poignant, as most color in The City is rendered by the adornments of people (neon and such). Sunset is just plainly gorgeous: the way the sun subjugates the brightness of the headlights with its glow. Authority is extremely powerful: the continual circular barbed wire makes me think of the life cycles (esp.)of U.S. prisoners(i.e., high rates of recidivism). Any significance to the Commercial sign?
i love the numbers and signage pictures. they remind me of the times where i was lost and felt that all of them were confusing. i enjoy your work very much i hope to see more in the future.
and i think the title of your page, good topic.
great job mike.
Always, Koelae Lynne
email me back sometime.
Jesus hellfire!
Damn good to see a site like this.
It crucifies me.
More 666 ones please!
Brilliant.
It seems I'm the only one that has visited this site and doesn't understand a thing.
great... answer me soon. i am taking photos too... but true is that they are not so graet as yours.the best are little things and footwear. i love these ones. :*
please,answer.i live in europe,in Lithuania.
bye.justa.
Wow. amazing shots! im a media student in Sydney Australia and these just kick ass. U've given me the inspiration i needed to get into gear. What film and equipment do u use? i really Looooove the colours you've captured. any post shoot stuff? :)
i'm completely inspired. going to walk to Washington Square Park and find something beautiful. thanks...
I loved this collection, it's very intelligent and inventive. you have a great eye
I love the sunset shot. I just started working in a highrise on the west side and and stunned by the sunsets I see. It's not too much of a stretch to imagine NJ as an imprssionist painting some evenings.
So much fun. I lived in The City for 10 years (why did i ever leave?) and it is so great to catch a glimpse of home.
yeh..
i know this sounds crazy but ..yeh ..tell me bout satan....i'm looking for links on the web but it aint working...i'm lookin for genuine stuff on satan ....as in the devil....i'm an avid listener and follower of Iron Maiden by the ways...
jack
Can you explain photo titled you? It seems to look like me.
yea,i dig on empty, totaLLy dig on it
Should I be arrested by your entrys? The plain fact is so far the Japan stuff is some what amusing. Lost in translatation to the X2. But your decidedly aloof imagery otherwise is marginal.
gotta say, mike, your work always hits home with me. i've never been to NY, might never make it, but just looking through all of your collections makes me believe that i have been. you use such incredible insight and there's such a raw art in everything you post. truly astonishing. thank you.
Where are you Mike...you never update.
I miss your photogs.
