Insomnia

03/13/03

And now I'm all tired and cranky the next day. I've discovered a new metric of insomnia: not being able to sleep until past when the express trains start running. (They shake up my apartment.)

Here's what happened the last time I was up that late. Really not what you want to see when you're tired and trying to get home. Especially when it sticks around for 10 minutes.

When I'm dictator, all A trains will run local.

Good lord, at least make a nice express train to JFK then.

I'll consider it. Really the problem is that all the trains have to squeeze into the same track between Chambers and Hoyt-Schermerhorn, so you have all the disadvantages of an express without any of the advantages (other than speed, for those whose stops you're not skipping).

At least I'm at an express stop for the 2, 3, 4, 5, Q, and W, so those can continue to run express.
